Trump Finally Acquitted

On the 5th of February, 2020, Donald J. Trump was officially acquitted of all charges against him. In the weeks leading up to the final trial, the Democrats and Republicans argued tirelessly and relentlessly over accusations of high crimes and smaller misdemeanors. What made this impeachment unique was the fact that it was entirely partisan, meaning that a congressman's vote was essentially based on with which party he resides. Every Democrat voted 'yes' and every Republican voted 'no' with the exception of Mitt Romney of Utah. The Articles of impeachment made it passed congress by the skin of their teeth and when it got to the senate, there was no hope as they needed 2/3 of the vote and it failed to even reach a mere 50%. The democrats have looked to impeach Trump from the minute he stepped foot into the white house using ammunition like a supposed collusion with Russia or Ukraine. Trump used one of his inherent powers to call for an investigation of Hunter Biden who was on the board of one of Ukraine's major fuel companies. Regardless of if Biden did anything wrong, the Democrats made a huge deal of the investigation calling it unnecessary and a waste of time (how ironic). In reality, all of the impeachment attempts and all of the investigations just to find Trump innocent are the real wastes of money.
I am personally very glad that Trump was acquitted. The man is not perfect, but he has shown that he has the best interest of America and Americans in mind and for me, that is the most important quality in a president. I am sure that the democrats will not be satisfied. There will be more attempt to remove Trump from office and disgrace his name as the President of the United States. The Democrats obviously do not want Trump to win the pResidential election this year and they will do all in their power to not let that happen.
